It Is Written® Professional Grant Writing Services, Inc. is a minority owned and operated corporation specializing in providing grant writing and grant administration solutions to state and city governments, police departments, not-for-profit organizations, small and large businesses, etc. for the primary purposes of seeking funding support. With 17 years of grant writing expertise, It Is Written® can assist with analyzing your organization’s needs, researching potential public and private funding sources, and matching your company with those funding sources whose missions’ best identify with your overall goals. Additionally, we offer grant writing workshops for those who would like to enter the arena, and grant administration for organizations that may not have the staffing capacity to ensure the project(s) outlined in the grant(s) are efficiently carried out from A to Z.

Our proposal development team will take the worry out of the proposal process for you, but also work closely with you in order to ensure your corporation gains a competitive edge on any and all grants written. We can also assist in the development of business plans, development, and submission of non-profit documents, development of By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation, and development of a comprehensive grant monitoring/administration process.

What We Do:

Grant Writing Solutions - We provide multiple solutions to the complex world of grants. In respect to writing grants, we offer complete development of your program, including a comprehensive budget, and assist with timelines for most projects. Using our database, we are then able to conduct a comprehensive research of more than 500,000 potential funding sources to see whose funding priorities align with your proposed program. This information can be developed into a prospectus for you to write your own grants, or we will use it to complete the grant writing process for you.

Grant Management Solutions - Grant management establishes a uniform administrative set of requirements by which Federal, State and Foundation grants and agreements can be monitored to assure compliance with regulations outlined in those grant agreements.

Most grantees fail to complete their projects due to non-compliance. We develop internal processes for your agency that, if adhered to, practically guarantee success. Our processes establishes timelines, develops Requests for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/RFQ) and Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) when subcontractors may be needed, conducts orientations with selected service providers, develops internal monitoring forms, and conducts a stringent evaluation process in order to meet grant mandates.

We prepare all monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports for your agency in a timely manner, for your review prior to submission. Finally, we conduct an annual internal audit via an independent third party accounting firm for quality assurance.
